Re: FREE webinar: going green, making money.
I bet you had no idea that going green can make you money.

If done right, eco-friendly practices can actually be profitable. A great example is saving on fuel costs. Switching to vehicles that don’t use as much fuel is good for the environment and your pocket in the long-run.
The shift to green logistical practices does require a significant initial investment of time and money, but the long term rewards are difficult to ignore.
You must be wondering how making environmentally conscious changes can turn into financial benefits. LSC will be discussing this and more in a FREE summer webinar.
We’ve done the research so you don’t have to. Here are some of the most important topics that will be covered.
Lower CO2 emissions
The type of fuel used has a huge effect on how much carbon dioxide (CO2) a vehicle emits. There are fuel options that enormously minimizes emissions.
Electrically powered vehicles are becoming more and more accessible. Switching to electrical vehicles means less money spent on fuel, and even less CO2 emissions.
If current routes work, it is rare that alternative routes are considered. The chances that your routes can be optimized are bigger than you think. Shorter travel time means more money saved.
There is always the option of using railroads as a more effective, more fuel conscious way to transport goods.
Waste management
Packaging materials and processes often contribute to waste generation. If you spend some time on how to streamline this process and use more effective materials, less waste is accumulated and therefore less money is required to manage it.
You can make it easier for your drivers to dispose of their own waste. Long distance trips result in empty cans, plastic wrappers, etc. that can be recycled for money in South Africa. It wouldn’t hurt to make it easy for drivers to collect their waste and drop it somewhere that makes it easy to deliver. This provides an opportunity for income that may not have been there before.
Why go green?
As highlighted in this email, you have more to gain than to lose with eco friendly changes.
Making environmentally conscious changes even add to your brand. Going green is all the rage. People will only have good things to say about environmentally conscious businesses.
There are more ways you can make money by going green in your logistics company. This webinar will show you how.
